Who Are We?
The New and Current Student Support Committee provides information
to high school students considering the University of Notre
Dame and offers support for incoming freshman and families
making the transition from high school to the University.
In addition, the committee communicates with current Notre
Dame students and families providing Tips Sheets (insightful
help) as well as hosting organized events in the Denver area.

ND Information Night
For prospective high school students hosted by Denver ND
Club Alumni Schools Representative, Steve Dillon ND’82
and our regional ND Admissions representative,
Bob Mundy
Catholic Schools College Fair
Hosted by Denver ND Club Alumni Schools Representative,
Steve Dillon’82 and other local ND alums
- Early January
Reception for early admit students and parents
Scholarship Committee Representatives, Alumni Schools Representative,
a few current students home on break and their parents to
answer questions and socialize
- Early April
Dessert reception for early/spring admitted students
and their parents
Scholarship Committee Representatives, Alumni Schools Representative,
and a few recent ND grads to answer questions and socialize
- Early June
Ice Cream Social for new confirmed admits
and their families
Scholarship Committee Representatives, Alumni Schools Representative,
current students (especially those just completing freshman
year), visiting “Summer Service Interns”, and
recent grads that helped with the April reception will be
here to answer questions and socialize
Also, at this event we distribute information sheets and
have a panel of freshman/parents answer questions related
to preparations you need to make in early summer.

The Student Support Committee is posting
"Tips" sheets on the page and need your help for
tips sheets on Travel to South Bend and Where
to Stay in the South Bend Area. Please e- mail us at

with your input on the following:
- *How do you like to travel to South Bend--- plane, train,
boat, bus, or automobile?
- *Which airport and which airline do you prefer? Any tricks
you can share?
- *Where do you like to stay in the South Bend Area?
- *Where would you prefer to never stay
again?
