One of the Club's priorities is to add value to the Denver community. We have several opportunities for our members to get involved in community service.

  • Summer Service Project
    (Internships for ND Students)
    The Denver Club partners with Colorado charitable organizations, placing Notre Dame student volunteers in positions through which they deliver valuable services to the constituencies of the charitable organization.
  • Notre Dame Club of Denver Day of Service
    The Notre Dame Club of Denver will be helping to prepare meals and serving them to the residents of the Samaritan House (a Catholic Charities sponsored Homeless Shelter).
  • Adopt-a-School
    Our adopted school is Annunciation. The Notre Dame Club of Denver has built a wonderful relationship with Sister Jean, the faculty and students of Annunciation.
  • Bonfils Blood Donations
    Emergency services continue to have a shortage of blood for critically ill patients.
  • Magic Moments
    Magic Moments is a non-profit organization that produces an annual musical and theatrical production that integrates persons with physical and developmental disabilities into the total performing cast.

 

Project C.U.R.E.

Project C.U.R.E. is a non-profit, humanitarian relief organization that collects medical supplies and equipment and donates it to hospitals and clinics in developing countries. Club members currently volunteer 2 hours monthly (2nd Monday each month) at their Centennial location (10377 E. Geddes Ave. Centennial, CO 80112), 6:30 - 8:30pm. Bonfils Blood Donation Centers

Emergency services continue to have a shortage of blood for critically ill patients. To donate blood, call Bonfils Blood Center at 303.363.2300 or go to http://www.bonfils.org to schedule an appointment.

Special Olympics Colorado

Special Olympics Colorado needs volunteers for a wide range of activities--from coaching to competition day help. Please see their website if you're interested in volunteering. The NDCD will continue to help publicize Special Olympics Colorado events and help support their outstanding athletes in any way possible.
