Bishop Evans Scholarship Program
The Bishop Evans Scholarship Program is a part of the University
of Notre Dame Endowment that recognizes the contributions
of University Alumni living in Northern Colorado.
Earnings from the Bishop Evans Scholarship Fund are made
available to University Students from the Notre Dame Club
of Denver area as part of their total financial aid package.
This gives the Denver Club a chance to directly help in the
financial backing of students from the area.
University Alumni, as they make their donations directly
to the University, are asked to designate that their contribution
be deposited in the Bishop Evans Scholarship Fund.
Such a designation will serve to increment the amount of
funding available to the Notre Dame Club of Denver in support
of local students.
Such a designation has no effect on the contribution or
the contributor.
- The money goes into the University of Notre Dame Endowed
Scholarship Fund just as it would if no such designation
were attached.
- Contributors receive the same credit for the contribution
toward the football lottery that they will receive absent
any designation for the BESF.

In order to secure the auction for ND members only, a user

Notre Dame Club of Denver members can contribute to the University
Scholarship Fund through the Notre Dame Club of Denver. Money
received by the Denver Club that is designated as Bishop Evans
Scholarship donations will be forwarded by the Club to the
University for deposit into the University Endowed Scholarship
fund. The Denver Club will make its best efforts to identify
the source of the funds. In this manner credit for the donation
accrues to the Denver Club Member who makes the donation.
