Join us at The Rocky Mountain Hospital for Children Foundation to make dog biscuits for sale to support K-9 Companion Program at the Colorado Correction Industries.
When:
May 19, 2012
9:00am-12:00pm
Where:
1670 Jasper Street
Aurora, CO 80011
(near DIA)
What:
The Stink Bug Project was founded by a 10-year-old cancer survivor who got a dog after her chemo treatments. She wanted other children going through the same illness to have a loving companion dog, so she began selling homemade dog biscuits to raise funds with which to provide kids with companion dogs from the prison-trained K-9 program at Colorado correctional facilities. Volunteers will set up, bake dog biscuits, clean up the kitchen, and bag the biscuits.
