ND Women Connect
Welcome from the Denver NDWC Chair
Background
In 1972, the University of Notre Dame opened its doors to coeducation under the leadership of Notre Dame President (1953-1987) Father Theodore M. Hesburgh, C.S.C. In May 2006, Fr. Hesburgh kicked off the Notre Dame alumnae initiative in Chicago with 225 attendees. Since then, women have gathered for various intellectual, spiritual, social, and professional events. In January 2009, Ceyl Prinster ‘76, President of the ND Alumni Association Board of Directors and representative from Denver, formally announced the May launch of ND Women Connect. Denver is proud to be one of the four founding chapters, along with Chicago, Detroit, and D.C.

I muse that the Lady atop the Dome is giving us an encouraging and knowing wink.
