About Magic Moments:
Co-Founded in 1983 by Notre Dame Club of Denver Member Lou Ripp '52 and his wife Rosemary, Magic Moments is a non-profit organization that produces an annual musical and theatrical production. Each production integrates persons with physical and developmental disabilities into the total cast of amateur and professional performers. Performers range in age from 5 to 75! This mix is truly magical for all involved - cast, staff and audience. The mission of Magic Moments is to raise community awareness of the special gifts of persons with disabilities and provide the diverse cast an opportunity to give back to their community through theatrical performance. Through these ongoing annual productions and independent fundraising events, Magic Moments has supported area organizations that serve persons with disabilities. Magic Moments has distributed over $200,000 since the organization's inception. Recipients have used these funds for artistic, educational recreational and vocational training for people with physical and developmental disabilities.
