Crawl For Cancer
Join a pub crawl benefitting the Rocky Mountain Cancer Centers
Foundation. Each team consists of 10 people. There is a $500
team registration fee. Once registered, each team will receive
t-shirts and cab coupons for everyone. .
On Saturday, August 16, teams will travel to five LoDo bars
and receive four pitchers at each bar. At the end of the crawl,
all teams are invited to an after-party at Fado with a live
band and more beer. Teams must be registered by July 3.

We will form as many teams as needed based on number of participants.

Movie On The Rocks
Zoolander
Every week there is a movie shown at Red Rocks and on Monday, August 18 they will be showing Zoolander. Events start at 7pm with a band playing, followed by a comedian, Looney Toons cartoon, and finally around 9pm when it's dusk the movie begins.
Tickets are $10 for the evening. Tailgating is permitted in the lots so for those of you who forgot how to tailgate, this is a great way to get in shape for football season. We'll be getting there early to secure spots and set up the tailgate equipment. Show up at 6pm for some drinks and food. More specific details will follow when the time gets closer. Rockies Game
On Saturday, August 23 with first pitch 6:05pm, the Colorado Rockies are playing the Cincinatti Reds. That night is Todd Helton Bobblehead Night for the first 10,000 fans. Tickets are $10 for the game. Email Matt Christoff with how many tickets you need to reserve a spot.

Hello From the New Young Alumni Chairs
Jeff Paone ('07) and Matt Christoff ('04) will be taking
over the Young Alum event-planning from Monica McBride effective
immediately. Monica is happy to pass on the torch as she has
been enjoying her 1½ year old and hasn't had the time
lately to schedule too many happy hours.
Hi everyone,
My name's Jeff Paone and am very excited to be handling the
young alumni activities. I graduated in 2007 and moved out
to Denver just after graduation. I'm hoping to be able to
organize monthly happy hours again as well as several other
activities. I've already begun looking into putting together
a Bookstore Basketball tournament. Monica and I also discussed
possibly having an SYR type event as well. Feel free to send
any suggestions you might have for other activities.
