Mark Stewart, the General Manager of the Tavern Downtown,
is looking forward to hosting the Irish at this great
sports venue in LoDo.
Tavern's gorgeous rooftop bar, leather sofas and chairs,
and its seventeen 43" plasma screens, will provide
plenty of viewing and atmosphere for all.
ND Gamewatch fans will have exclusive rights at the
Tavern during all ND games. This means reserved seating
in both the bar and comfortable lounge areas (although
you will be able to sit anywhere you like) and Notre
Dame games televised on the majority of their plasmas.
If the game is not being shown on a tv you'd like to
be watching, they will bump that T.V. in question to
the ND game- no argument.
The volume in the Tavern will be the Notre Dame game
broadcast. A few random T.V.'s might be showing a different
game, but the play-by-play that everyone in the Tavern
hears will be the Irish.
Food Specials:
All food consumed by ND Gamewatchers will be sold at
a 30% discount from the listed menu price, regardless
of the item or quantity.
Drink Specials:
Drinks will be available according to the Tavern's
happy hour program; this means that during the game,
all house brand cocktails, domestic draft beers, and
house pour wines will be two for the price of one. In
addition to this, all soda and iced tea will be on the
house.
Parking:
Parking for this venue will be at street meters or in
the manysurrounding surface lots. Save yourself the parking
hassle and take the light rail – this location is
a short walk away. |
